The Fourth International Conference on Self-Healing Materials (ICSHM2013) takes place in the city of Ghent (Belgium) from 16th until 20 June 2013 . The presentations in the conference will be grouped in a variety of domains as for example „Bio-inspired materials“ and „Advanced characterisation methods for self-healing„.

Young scientist award
On the final day of the conference a ‘young scientist award’ will be presented. Young researchers can subscribe for this contest during the conference. Based on their submitted paper and presentation, several young promising researchers will be selected. The winners will receive a sum of money or the opportunity to perform research at a university abroad during one month.
